Terms and Conditions
Three Years
The initial agreement is for three years. That's how long we'll host your site for $150. The whole service will be reevaluated as we go along, particularly the demands on personnel and our costs.
Refunds
Sorry, but no refunds for any reason. The bulk of the work will be done up-front in designing and deploying the site. The fee goes mainly toward that. We won't pro-rate the $150 fee over the three-year period.
We Design Your Site
You provide information, using the information form. We take it from there, deciding how best to divide up and organize your site. For the most part the structure is set. But every church is a bit different, and that will come through in the final design.
Infrequent Updating
This service has been designed to require minimal upkeep once a site is in place. Potentially, a site could go a year or more without needing to be updated. Potentially. AtMyChurch is for churches that are okay with that. If you want a site that changes regularly, then AtMyChurch isn't for you.
Get Everything All at Once
We won't start designing the site until all of the information has been submitted. That will make things go faster and more efficiently, as opposed to working piecemeal as material arrives. The Information Form, plus any photos you send, will contain all that is needed.
One Contact Person
We need to interact with just one person at your church. We don't want multiple persons sending us information or requesting changes. One person.
Who Owns "Your" Site?
The denomination is the owner of sites on the AtMyChurch server. We'll gladly transfer your site to your control if you choose to take the site elsewhere. We have the right to refuse to publish certain content, though that would be a pretty extreme situation.
If your church leaves the denomination, the site will be removed.
Domain Names
If you buy a domain name, you own that name. We'll keep it with our registrar for safe-keeping, but will transfer it to a registrar of your choice if you wish. Just don't let it lapse, or you'll lose the domain.
